Contemporary arts duo Juneau Projects, also known as Philip Duckworth and Ben Sadler, will exhibit Birds Want You To Listen To Their Songs from 1 September - 29 October. The exhibition features an interactive print kit, viewfinders, prints, sculptures, and print blocks.

Chad McCail: Liars of Earth

NGCA presents the national premiere of Chad McCail's near 100-foot long drawing 'Liars of Earth'. McCail's parable has a political twist in the tale, presenting a world in which ordinary people are able to overturn the malign rule of monstrous giants.
BALTIC Artists’ Award 2017

The four recipients of the inaugural BALTIC Artists' Award 2017 receive a 13-week exhibition at BALTIC, £25,000 to create new work and a £5,000 artist fee. This major new international award is the first worldwide art award to be judged solely by artists.
Chuck Close Tapestries

Six extraordinary tapestries shown in the UK for the very first time. The dramatic black and white tapestries feature huge portraits of Barack Obama, artists Lyle Harris, Kiki Smith, Ellen Gallagher and Cindy Sherman together with a self-portrait of Close. Hung within the ornate interior of the Chapel, this will become a congregation of the most unusual kind.
Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival 2017

Taking place in historic venues across England’s most northerly town, BFMAF 2017 will include exhibitions, film screenings and live events, as well as a young filmmakers award, school screenings and family activities. The Festival hosts the Berwick New Cinema competition, an annual prize for the very best in artists’ moving image and new filmmaking.
